Yard Waste- Wednesday

Yard waste should be bagged in paper bags not to be more than 50lbs. Plastic bags are no longer accepted. Branches must be tied. No more than 4 inches in diameter. Owners must call in advance to schedule a bulk item pick up.   

The common areas along with the bushes and landscaping in the front of the town homes, is maintained by Greenscape Landscape company. All trees within each owner's property boundary are the responsibility of each homeowner to maintain. All trees in common areas are maintained by the Association. Owners are responsible to maintain the landscaping in the rear and sides of their property that is within their property boundary. 

Additionally, each of Reston’s clusters, including Halstead Glen, has its own set of DRB-approved cluster standards. Each cluster association is responsible for updating those standards, the DRB must review and approve all proposed cluster standard updates, and Reston Association Staff keeps a record of all DRB-approved cluster standards. • Reston Association’s Design Guidelines are a general framework for preparing your improvement project in conformance with Reston’s protective covenants. Design Guidelines also prescribe the level of Design Review that will be required for your proposed project.
